Who wouldn’t want to develop better habits in life? I understand the challenges of being a real estate professional. It can be so stressful and demanding that, at times, we neglect our well-being. One of the ways I manage my stress and maintain high energy levels is by following a system called the 15-Point Plan.
What is the 15-Point Plan? It is a personalized self-care system that focuses on 15 daily habits crucial for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It’s about building awareness of how your daily habits affect your mood, energy, and stress levels.
Here’s how it works: Track your habits each day and check off whether you’ve completed each of the 15 habits. At the end of the day, you rate your mood, energy levels, and stress levels on a scale of one to 10. Consistently doing this for even at least 30 days will reveal patterns allowing you to recognize which habits have the biggest impact on your overall well-being.
What I love about the 15-Point Plan is its flexibility. You get to decide what each habit means to you and customize it depending on your lifestyle and preferences. For example, “movement” for me might mean going on a 20-minute walk. And I get points for that because I am trying to be more active. Another example is under “nutrition.” Maybe you’re following a meal plan or avoiding sugar again, you get points if you were able to do it.
If you’re curious to know more about the 15-Point Plan, you can check out 15pointplan.com. You can also listen to the podcast called 15-Point Plan where I co-host with my friend Ryan Greg, where we talk about each of the 15 habits and break down different ideas for how you can score points. We also talk about life and health in general.
This is important to real estate agents since many of us get caught up by the hustle and forget to slow down and take time for ourselves. Without necessary self-care, you could end up burned out and unable to give your best for your clients, family, or yourself.
I hope you can check this out and apply it in your life and with consistency, you’ll notice changes that will make your life better. If you have any questions, definitely reach out.
